Sawdust Festival

The Seventh Annual Sawdust Art and Craft Winter Fantasy Festival will feature Santa Claus, train rides and snow fields. It opens tomorrow and will run Nov. 23, 28, 29, 30 and Dec. 6, 7, 13 and 14 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. A season pass costs $4 and a day pass for children ages 6-12 is $1. Children under 5 are free.

It is located at 935 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

Gift Show

The Gift Show will debut at Fairplex 5 Nov. 22-23. The show will feature seasonal gifts, toys, electronics, souvenirs, novelties, sporting gifts and paintings. Admission for adults is $5, seniors $4, children 7-12 $3 and under 7 is free. Parking thru Gate 14 on White Avenue will be $5 and preferred $6.

Mexican Art

Mexican Masterpieces from the Bernard and Edith Lewin Collection will be on display at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art at 5905 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles. The 20 century Mexican art will feature Diego Rivera, Rufino Tamayo, Frida Kahlo, Carlos Mérida, José Clemente Orozco and David Alfaro Siqueiros.

The work will be shown Nov. 23 through Feb. 16, 1998. For more information call (213) 857-6000.

‘Company’

The Department of Theatre Arts presents Stephen Sondheim’s musical “Company” today and tomorrow at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. in Dailey Theatre. General admission is $8, $7 for faculty/staff and $5 for students/seniors.
