Proposed state law would tax ICE facilities

Assembly member Matt Haney, D-San Francisco, recently introduced Assembly Bill 1633, which would impose a 50% tax on the for-profit corporations that run U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, detention facilities in California.
