The Ontario Museum of History and Art hosted a community reception for its 25th annual Dia de los Muertos Exhibition, “Dia de los Muertos: Recuerdos de Sabores,” on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.
Nicole Mahrer, assistant professor of psychology, presented “Virtual Acceptance and Commitment Therapy For Youth with Chronic Illnesses” for the University of La Verne on Tuesday in the Quay Davis Board Room.
To help address the need for water conservation, the California Botanic Garden held a workshop for beginners, “Getting Started, Lawn Removal and More,” Saturday.
Laughter, paint splatter and camera flashes were all heard at the Fun in the Sun Community Wellness event at Ganesha Park in Pomona, hosted by CalHOPE and Parents Anonymous, where families attended Saturday to enjoy free food, toys, live entertainment and more.
