Alexis Moreno, a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at the University, led a series of trainings on dating abuse prevention recently on campus including one for a Black Student Union event last week.
The Campus Times, La Verne Magazine and LVTV recently received numerous top awards – beating out such schools as UC Riverside and Cal Poly Pomona – in an annual journalism competition sponsored by the Inland Southern California Professional Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
