Tuesday night, the field of battle was the Supertents, as the University of La Verne women's basketball team easily annihilated Southern California Inter-Athletic Conference (SCIAC) adversary Cal Lutheran (11-8 overall) by 18 points, 72-54.

Tuesday was a tough day for the University of La Verne women's basketball team. It played the No. 1 school in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC), Pomona-Pitzer, whose record going into the game was 4-0 in conference. The Leopards lost, 73-72, in double overtime.
