The Leopards, who are the proud owners of a 17-1 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference record, earned a No. 2 ranking in this weekend's NCAA West Regional playoff in Tacoma, Wash.

University of La Verne women's fast-pitch has owned the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference during the past two seasons, capturing two titles. This year the team is at it again striving for a three-peat.
