The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Finals were the end of a rough and disappointing season, but for some players on the men's tennis team, "It was a learning experience."

Celebrating the diversity of the University of La Verne, the International Student Organization (ISO), International Services and Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum held International Celebration Week throughout this week.

The skies last Friday seemed to be as grey as the end results for the University of La Verne men's tennis team. The Leopards played host to the visiting Caltech team and once again found themselves on the short end of the winning stick (5-2).

Although the inexperienced La Verne men's tennis team has not won a single match thus far, they still manage to have a high team morale.

High hopes and expectations were not met on Friday as the University of La Verne men's tennis team's match was cancelled due to rain. Friday's match in Pasadena against Caltech was to serve as an opener for the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC).
