Blue Lights illuminate safety
The University of La Verne prides itself on the safety of its campus, but after a Blue Light tower was removed from in front of Miller Hall, it was questionable what we are more proud of, the safety of students or the aesthetics of the art and sculptures that were donated.
Campus Safety receives award
La Verne’s Campus Safety Department was recognized by the School Safety Advocacy program and was presented with an award for their exemplary safety programming in late July.
WEB tower moved
Though the Blue Light project has been an overall success, Capital Planning had to remove the WEB tower in front of Dailey Theatre on Feb. 28 after receiving multiple complaints.

Campus Safety worked in conjunction with Capital Planning to add Wide Area Emergency Broadcast System towers to the La Verne campus, adding to the numerous ways they help to keep La Verne safe.
