Carolyn Bekhor, department chair and professor of legal studies, spent her spring 2025 sabbatical bringing free legal assistance to Pomona’s needy and revamping a journal for legal professionals and educators.

U.S. senators Mark R. Warner and John Thune proposed the Restricting the Emergence of Security Threats that Risk Information and Communications Technology Act on March 7. If the bill were to pass, it would give the government the power to act against technological companies if they pose a national security threat to Americans.

Assistant Professor of Legal Studies Thomas Allison may soon be trading in his position as professor for a seat on the bench. The University of La Verne professor is running for Los Angeles County Superior Court judge.
