Michael Keck, actor, composer and publisher, came to the University of La Verne this week to conduct workshops and allow students to see him rehearse for “Voices in the Rain,” his solo performance set to debut at the Illusion Theatre in Minneapolis, Minn., this fall, prior to a national tour.

In any sport, it is important to start the season off on the right foot. The University of La Verne’s men’s soccer team did just that with a pair of road victories in Bridgewater, Va.
