It has been estimated that at least 10 percent of the U.S. population is gay, lesbian or bisexual. So it is logical to conclude that 10 percent of the ULV population probably falls into this category. But one would not know this by observing activities on campus.

For approximately three years, the University of La Verne has been dis­cussing the idea of a lounge for com­muters. A list of goals were set up that needed to be reached in order for the Commuter Lounge to become reality. Now these goals have been brought together through an outline prepared by Ruby Cordova, assistant dean of student activities.
