A gunshot can be heard across campus. No one is sure whether the sound is coming from on campus or from a distance. The students commuting to school have no idea what might be happening at school. A problem has occurred.

Last week's tragedy in Littleton, Colo., has once again opened our eyes as to how cruel children are capable of being. It is hard to understand what makes two teenagers kill. The media has begun the process of trying to figure out why the killers did what they did. Why, why, why?

Be responsible for your actions. This is simple advice. A trend in our society has begun, and, for the past couple of years, it has been to point the finger and place blame for one's own actions. Well, the time has come for people, young and old, to be responsible for their own choices and end all of this senseless chaos and moral disorder that is running rampant through our society.
