Nerves were raw and emotions intense as the incoming class began to settle into their new-found homes at the University of La Verne, and began the long eventful weekend that lay ahead.
Among the comedy and applause in Wednesday's annual Faculty and Staff Service Awards, held in La Fetra Hall, many University of La Verne staff members were honored.
Memories at the University of La Verne were relived and reflected upon as approximately 50 seniors, faculty and staff camped out at Pilgrim Pines Camp to participate in Senior Retreat last weekend.
President Stephen Morgan led his first University 100 class discussion at Freshmen Orientation Camp, along with Orientation Week Leader Dan Lougheed and Gloria Morrow, director of the Marriage and Family Counseling Center.
Patches of snow and years of memories greeted the 35 seniors who traveled to Mile High Pines last weekend for Senior Retreat. This year’s theme was, “A Time to Remember... A Time to Look Ahead.”
