Students had the opportunity to showcase their talents during the department of music’s student recital on April 20 in Founders Auditorium.

The women’s volleyball team won yet another Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, once again proving to be the pride of ULV athletics. Each of the fall sports, however, worked hard and showed signs of greatness at times.

The men’s soccer team defeated Cal Lutheran, 2-1, on Halloween night and then defeated Whittier, 3-0, on Wednesday.

In an aggressive game against Whittier, the University of La Verne men’s soccer team was able to step up and get the job done defeating the Poets, 3-1, last Saturday at Graham Field in Whittier.

Halfway through the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference season, the University of La Verne men’s soccer team comes out 3-4 after defeating Whittier College, 4-0, on Oct. 6 and losing to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, 2-0, on Saturday.
