A windy afternoon last Saturday affected and slowed the runners of the University of La Verne cross country team in the SCIAC championships in El Prado.
The men's and women's cross country team traveled to Whittier College last Saturday to compete in the Whittier College Cross Country Invitational held at Ralph B. Clark Regional Park in La Mirada.
