Greek life is a large part of the University of La Verne campus. With most on-campus and community events sponsored by greek organizations, it often seems as though the majority of the student population is greek, but this is not the case.
With the new “deferred rush” provision now in effect, all six respective fraternities and sororities opened their doors to prospective members during Rush Week.
Last spring, following increased pressure from the faculty and Board of Trustees, the Greek Review Board handed down a decision prohibiting freshmen from rushing for the Greek System during their first semester.
