After six-weeks of blowout campaigning and record spending, California's historic gubernatorial recall effort culminated Tuesday as voters turned out en force to recall recently elected Gov. Gray Davis and replace him with action-movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Three months is nothing but a chaotic blur of insignificant time that is forgotten as quickly as it passes. Then, the first day of school arrives, and we take our first step into another three-month maelstrom. Within the confines of this whirlwind, we find it impossible to digest all the ongoing drama in our media. Some entertainment experiences get overlooked, simply because we need to leave a little room in our over-stimulated minds for the perpetual drama that is our life.
