The University of La Verne’s baseball team won its season-high ninth consecutive SCIAC game Monday, 8-5, against Pomona-Pitzer. Following numerous rain delays over the weekend, the game was finally played last Monday.

However, that is not the case with the University of La Verne Leopards around. Fans of the game can still go to the ball park and enjoy “America’s pastime.” After finishing last season second in conference with a record of 15-6, they are optimistic about the season ahead.
