The University’s annual homecoming festivities began with a 5K run on Saturday that started on the Citrus Lawn, next was the street fair on C and Second streets in front of the Campus Center, then the Mission Brewing pre-game party in the Quad. The evening ended with the Homecoming football game
Students build a Lego bricks realm during the Lego building competition Wednesday on Citrus Lawn. The competition was part of the Campus Activities Board’s Game of Leos event.
The Court of Leos nominees are presented Monday in the Abraham Campus Center Ballrooms. The two Court of Leos royalty winners will be announced at 1 p.m. on Saturday on the steps of Miller Hall during the Homecoming street fair.
Following a week of homecoming festivities, senior business administration major Kennadie Gonzales and senior psychology major Mikaylay Dacpano were named this year’s Leo Royalty and were awarded leopard statues and crowns.
The Campus Activities Board held Homecoming Illuminations on Monday in the Campus Center Ballroom. Around 30 people attended the event to hear who was nominated to a spot in this year’s Court of Leos.
