The second annual Tattoos for the Cure, a breast cancer charity event hosted by Ink’d Chronicles in Pomona on Saturday, helped raise over $6,000 for the Pomona Valley Hospital’s research on breast cancer.
Walking into Ink’d Chronicles, the constant buzzing of tattoo guns, the smell of ink, rubbing alcohol, soap, and “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey, playing in the background lets you know that you are in a tattoo shop.
Among the variety of antique shops and artistic havens in downtown Pomona, University of La Verne alumnus Terry Dipple proved it is never too late to follow your passion with the opening of Ink’d Chronicles, a tattoo studio and art gallery.
