Sororities and fraternities’ spring recruitment numbers were significantly lower than last year due to the virtual setting as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic this past February.
Three years ago Sigma Gamma Rho became the first historically black sorority with a chapter on campus. Soon Iota Phi Theta will likely be the University’s first historically black fraternity.
The Campus Center Ballroom was alive last Thursday as Sigma Gamma Rho sorority hosted its fourth neophyte presentation since being chartered on campus in 2016.
