Jeannette Vagnozzi is a very active community member as well as a University of La Verne alumna, currently teaching principals of effective communication at ULV. She also wears the hats of the city of La Verne’s administrative superintendent and treasurer; in addition, she has an up-and-coming Web site plus a vast array of community programs and projects.
At 6 a.m. on a recent Monday – several hours before most University of La Verne students have awoken – Rudy Gama of the city’s department of public works is getting ready to make sure this pristine city stays that way.
The Leadership Education and Development program and the Office of Student Activities collaborated to create Leadership Training Week, which took place from Sept. 30 to Oct. 4. Club and organization members were required to attend at least one seminar of the week for funds to be released.
