The women’s tennis team finished in fifth place in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournaments last weekend in Eagle Rock.

Leopards lose to top-ranked Athenas
After dropping home matches to Redlands and UC Santa Cruz, the La Verne women’s tennis team traveled for its second road match against the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Athenas Feb. 24, losing 8-1.
Women’s tennis starts season 1-1
Starting their 2006 season on level ground, the women’s tennis team split their opening matches defeating Whittier on Feb. 10, 8-1, and falling to Cal Lutheran on Saturday, 9-0.
