I find the article “Never Happened Much Too Soon” [Oct. 21] to be right on! It is very appropriate to compare the internment of the Japanese during WWII to the profiling of Muslims in America.

I enjoy reading the Campus Times every Friday because I applaud the creativity and passion with which the reporters approach their assignments. I must, however, point out some problems with the argument in this article.

I would like to thank Mr. Casarez for his insightful letter [Sept. 21]. There is no question that insane murderers committed a horrible crime against humanity on Sept. 11. My heart goes out to all the victims and their families. Killing innocent people can never be justified under any circumstances.

There is no question that the events that transpired on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, were a tremendous tragedy. I grieve for the victims and their families and hope that they may find some measure of comfort in the tremendous outpouring of sympathy the world has shown.

I commend Miss Nguyen on her letter ["Letters to the Editor," Oct. 30]; quite possibly it was ... somewhat logical.

I must commend Mr. Dietz on his brief blurb on the MLA Collective ["Letters to the Editor," Oct. 9]; quite possibly, it was the most one-sided, McCarthyite smelling, non-informed piece of trash that I have ever had the misfortune to read.
