The University of La Verne football team posted a 20-14 victory over host Claremont-Mudd-Scripps behind a giant rushing attack which amassed 272 yards Saturday night at Zinda Field in Claremont.
Athletes team up against drugs
La Verne athletes in the Student Athletic Advisory Council visited Shull Elementary School in San Dimas last Friday to take part in Team Up Against Drugs Day, an activity for Red Ribbon Week.
