Eighteen University of La Verne students were randomly selected to participate in an informal survey to determine what the average person would do when put in three dangerous situations: a sexual assault attempt, a carjacking and the witnessing of a car accident.
Reed Gratz, professor of music, remembers vividly the first time he stepped on the University’s campus. He walked into Founders Auditorium and was hit with a wave of panic.
Founders Auditorium was quickly lit up on Monday as University of La Verne senior Kendell Smith and his four band members, performed his senior recital.
Those in Founders Auditorium on April 16 at 8 p.m. witnessed a tribute to a man who made his mark on the history of American music during the 20th century, when “The Music of Cole Porter” was introduced by University of La Verne music professor Reed Gratz.
