The musician, the ice and 21 other objects, people and scenes that will be scattered around campus from Dec. 11-15 are part of the “Art Frames Life” exhibit, the final project in “Introduction to Contemporary Art,” a University of La Verne class being taught by Bob Kitzmiller, associate director of education for the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art.
Originally-composed gospel music with a hip hop flair was on the agenda last Saturday night as Brent Jones and the T.P. (Total Praise) Mob electrified the La Verne community with a free concert in Founders Hall Auditorium.
With the chapel overflowing with faculty, staff, students and community members, Anita Hanawalt, along with four other women, rededicated the rebuilt and improved harpsichord and dedicated the newly-arrived chamber organ on March 26.
