I am writing to congratulate the new chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma. Being a part of Phi Sigma Sigma myself, I was researching and looking over the Internet for information on the sorority when I ran across this article ["Local sorority becomes Phi Sigma Sigma," Sept. 27, 1996].
Inspired by the world of journalism
High school flew by and suddenly I was faced with college and the many decisions accompanying it. Staring down at stacks of applications from various schools, I began to answer mind-boggling questions such as my high school GPA, parents' income and whether I wanted to live on campus. Then I came across a head stumper: my major.
How ‘Low’ can you go?
As the posters hanging on Cal Poly Pomona's campus put it, "After eight long years, Low finally gives administration the issue it's been waiting for...the last."

Vince Wetzel and Scott Mac Kay’s “discovery” of the Low Magazine distribution rack inside an air conditioning shack was quite amazing. I applaud these modern-day Hardy Boys for using their powers of “observation” to track down our stand after it was reported stolen to campus security and the La Verne Police Department.
High quality mag or ‘Low’ down trash?
Low is not just the title of the Cal Poly underground magazine that has stirred up controversy at ULV, it is also the attitude of the staff and editor of the publication. This lowly attitude is conveyed through their sleazy ads, their writing style, advertising and most of all, their relations with other publications.
