Amidst the Southern California storms, the La Verne women’s water polo team battled through the rain in a tough 15-14 loss against the Division I Saint Francis Red Flash for the first game of the ULV mini tournament Tuesday afternoon at the La Verne Aquatic Center at Las Flores Park.
The women’s water polo team came into the Claremont Tournament with no mercy with wins over Chapman and Macalester on March 17. However the next day the Leopards dropped two matches to Arizona and Cal State San Bernandino.
The University of La Verne women's water polo team competed in the Claremont Invitational Tournament last weekend earning two wins over Macalester College and Cal State San Bernardino and two losses to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Cal Baptist University.
