Leos erased from SCIAC softball tourney

The softball team’s long and difficult SCIAC season came to an end this weekend for the Leopards, going 1-2 with losses to Redlands and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and a win over Whittier.

The softball team celebrated Senior Day, which honors the careers of its graduating players, on April 22. After winning their last home game of the season, teammates gave gifts and exchanged warm stories to honor the five graduating seniors: Delaney Baylor, Mandy Brenner, Lisa Neu, Ashley Paul and Kaitlin Ward. Softball seniors go out with a win

The Leopards took care of business on the field, sweeping the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens by scores of 4-3 and 10-4 on Senior Day on April 22.

Leos bitten by Bulldogs in softball losses

Saturday was a rough day for the softball team as it dropped both games in a doubleheader against Redlands with scores of 5-2 in game one and 11-8 in game two at Wheeler Park.
