The University of La Verne, under the tutelage of head coach Don Flora, has won its seventh straight Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship, defeating the Cal Lutheran Regals, 3-1 in front of a raucous Frantz Athletic Court crowd Oct. 27.
The women’s volleyball team wrapped up the Pacific Coast Classic in Claremont on Saturday, defeating Willamette University from Oregon to finish the weekend with a undefeated record of 4-0.

Coming off an exhausting road trip in which they faced three nationally ranked teams in St. Louis, the University of La Verne women’s volleyball team swept Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in the opening conference match, 3-0 (30-26, 30-25, 30-26), Tuesday night at Ducey Gymnasium in Claremont.
