Last week, Canadian-based poet Rupi Kaur posted an Instagram photo of her sister sleeping on her side displaying a small circle of blood on her sweatpants—a period leak. Instagram removed the photo twice, stating that it violated community guidelines.

There is a point in time every month where a woman is more in touch with her feelings. During this monthly phase, she can vent her feelings more easily, do odd jobs around the house that you thought were never possible, and crave and consume unusual amounts of foods in a matter of minutes not normal for typical women.
