The season has come to a close for the women's basketball team. The Leopards wrapped up their season on Monday in front of a packed house at the Supertents.
Women's basketball head coach Julie Kline should chalk Friday's game up as a learning experience. The undersized and less experienced Leopards took a 75-51 visiting loss to a dominating Pomona-Pitzer squad, 75-51.
The sounds of hard work can be heard on weeknights in the Supertents. Yells of encouragement from teammate to teammate, the basketball bouncing off the hardwood, and 13 pairs of shoes stomping down as the players change direction during sprints.
For the women's basketball team, times have hard since the season opening victory over Life Bible College. The Leopards lost to Westmont College, 74-47, to bring their overall record to 1-3.
