Association recognizes students
Thirty-two was the magic number for students from the University of La Verne Communications Department at the 50th Annual California Intercollegiate Press Association (CIPA) convention hosted by Cal Poly San Luis Obispo last weekend.
Students awarded scholarships
The endowed scholarship funds for 1997-98 school year have been distributed to students by the office of Financial Aid. Students were able to apply for the scholarships during the regular registration process in the spring. Approximately 100 scholarships were awarded.
