In an informal survey conducted on campus, 15 out of 20 University of La Verne community members said they would rather stream a movie at home than watch it in the theater. 

Going to the movies, at the movie theater, has for generations been an easy and relatively inexpensive way to escape and be entertained. 

The Mission Tiki Drive-In theater in Montclair  provides people the enjoyment of watching a movie on the big screen from the comfort of their cars. 

Recently, I went to see "X2," which is the second installment of the X-Men movies, directed by Bryan Singer.

The house is dark and imposing. Faint, ominous music echoes through its cobwebbed corridors. Our heroine tiptoes across the creaking, rotted floorboards beneath her feet toward the closed door at the end of the hallway.

In addition to the plethora of movie theaters now open throughout the Inland Empire -- there are from two to five in just about every city -- next week die-hard movie fans will be pleased when two new movie theaters open in the glorious Ontario Mills mall, otherwise known to many as the biggest money-making scam of the season.
