Phi Sigma Sigma showed their support for women who undergo kidney dialysis, the sorority’s current philanthropy project, in the form of a 24-hour rock-a-thon series of events at the Johnson Family Plaza from May 4 to May 5.
Sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma hosted their 24-hour Rock-a-Thon philanthropy event Nov. 12-13 in Sneaky Park and had members of the sorority rock in rocking chairs to raise funds for the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation, which benefits the Kids In Need and Practice Makes Perfect foundations.
University of La Verne Greek community and Enactus met for the joint Greek Philanthropy Challenge and the Let’s Can Hunger Campaign in Sneaky Park on Nov. 20.
Some University of La Verne students were getting ready to compete in a basketball game for charity recently. Their hope was to of raise money for the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation, which benefited the National Kidney Foundation.
