The women’s water polo team struggled to keep up with Pomona-Pitzer on Wednesday at the La Verne Aquatic Center, which led them to a 24-7 loss. There were over 50 Leopards fans cheering them on. 

In windy, cloudy conditions La Verne came out on top over Occidental, 15-9, April 2 at the La Verne Aquatic Center to continue their push toward the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoffs. 

The women’s water polo team came up short with an 18-15 loss to Saint Francis, a fierce Division I team, on a rainy evening March 6 at the La Verne Aquatic Center. 

In their final home game of the season, the women’s water polo team lost, 16-6, against the Cal Lutheran Regals on Saturday afternoon at the Matt M. Axelrood Pool in Claremont.

The No. 3 La Verne women’s water polo team fell, 13-7, against the No. 1 Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens for the Leopards’ second Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference loss on March 27 at the Matt M. Axelrood Pool in Claremont.

The final score of 9-8 extended the Leopards’ overall record to 2-6 and started conference play on a positive note.
