America’s privileged paparazzi princess was sentenced to 45 days in jail last Friday for violating her probation, namely driving on a suspended license. Paris Hilton has until June 5 to report to Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood.

As a guy, I’m usually turned off by any mention of celebrity news and gossip going on in Hollywood. Until recently, when I heard from my younger sister that Britney Spears had checked in to rehab for the third time and had shaved her head.

Everyone knows that there are perks to being a celebrity, but I didn’t think that some of the perks would amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Yes, I’m talking about the ever popular “celebrity swag.”

“Vote or Die!” was the mantra for the 2004 presidential election. If votes were flu shots, then many young people would be sick.

I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that I’m glad the election is finally over.
