While most voters have been exposed to the campaigns of Al Gore and George W. Bush, few have seen what the third-party candidates have pledged to offer.
Politics, hate 'em! But, my vote counts, so my opinion does too. I do not publicly declare my party preference so from an impartial point of view, American voters are getting swindled. The presidential debates really deprived us of our right to be informed.
As November's elections get closer, the Republicans and Democrats continue to visit each state in the country hoping to encourage more voter registration and win the people's vote for president.
It is enraging enough to read and listen to GOP candidate Patrick Buchanan tear diversity and attack immigration. Yet, it is more upsetting when descendants of immigrants choose to forget their roots and bash the newcomers. And what infuriates me the most is how many of these individuals I know.
