Living on campus is a privilege that many students look forward to. Year after year students flood into the dormitories, unpack, get themselves acquainted with the facilities and befriend their Resident/Program Assistant.

I am writing in regards to the article ["RAs should also abide by rules," Feb. 15] about how the PA/RAs and how completely disrespectful it was to the PA/RAs and the housing administration.

In response to the article "RA's should also abide by rules " printed in the Feb. 15 issue of the Campus Times, I would like to say that I think it is ridiculous to categorize the entire housing staff by one person's experiences.

To say that the newest Housing and Residential Life posters advertising next year's selection process -- "Dude, Where's my RA/PA?" -- display the competence of the current staff would be fairly accurate.

Students at the University of La Verne recently had the opportunity to receive a $500 scholarship as well as free room and board.
