As the murky water continues to recede in disaster stricken New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina, the University of La Verne is working with the Church of the Brethren.
Although the first round of heavy rains have more-or-less subsided for the start of the spring semester, some buildings on campus are feeling the effects of damage caused by previous flooding. Thanks to unfinished construction and repairs done on-the-cheap, even a day of minor rain exacerbates some of their ongoing problems.
As the fall semester unfolds at the University of La Verne, the facilities and management department is doing its best to minimize the threats of the West Nile Virus on campus.
