The 2020 election cycle is shaping up to be a treacherous one, as a smear campaign against presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg, the first openly gay presidential candidate, demonstrates the lengths to which some Trump supporters will go.

President Donald Trump has consistently shown his willingness to obstruct justice, particularly in regard to efforts to investigate possible collusion in Russia. He has violated the Emoluments Clause, as well as the Presidential Records Act of 1978.  For these reasons, Trump should be impeached.
