How many people do you know who have actually helped an old lady cross the street? How many people do you know who can sit patiently and attentively listen to a senior citizen and not complain about how much time it took? I do not know about you, but I have only heard about a handful.

Elderly can give much to younger people; they deserve greater respect, appreciation

Their faces are wrinkled, their hear­ing is going bad, their hair is graying, their gaits are slowing and their memories are depleting, but the elderly are some of the greatest bunch of people to be around. They have infinite wisdom. They've got countless experi­ences behind them, as well as many in ­front of them.
