For the graduating seniors at the University of La Verne, the recent cancellation of their Pilgrim Pines retreat has been a typical scenario in a year of disappointment.
The class of 2000 at the University of La Verne has not had its Senior Retreat, an event that usually takes place in the last week of March or the first weeks of April, and it looks as though there will not be one this year.
