To accommodate Leopards’ athletics in the future, as well as the city’s growing need for youth sports facilities, the La Verne city council approved the plan for a new sports complex to be located in the southern part of the city.

During the football season, I remember watching film of games and practices with the offensive unit in the hallway between the locker room and the Old Gym. On many occasions, students and professors walked right through our meeting. However, they are not to blame. Our meeting was in a hallway for God's sake.
