Imagine this: You’re ready for a night drama and gossip watching Laguna Beach with your fellow University of La Verne TV junkies. The Leo’s Den has the perfect big screen for the job. As your group approaches the hang-out spot, you notice it’s closed – and it’s only 10 p.m.
Many University of La Verne students were delivered a blow to their pockets when new financial aid packages came out recently. The main reason has been the failure in the federal budget to reinstate many programs, as well as freezing the Federal Work-Study budget, which was seriously cut for the 2004-2005 school year.
Founders Auditorium was full of children, parents and some University of La Verne students last Saturday, as they attended “Kids Club Goes to the Opera.”
With careful planning and hard work, many University of La Verne women contributed in marking their own history on campus in celebration and recognition of women's history month.
