In the only five-game match they have been forced to play all season, the University of La Verne men's volleyball team battled in the Supertents against Harvard last Friday night, eventually defeating the Crimson, 30-28, 39-37, 29-31, 25-30 and 18-16.
Striving to gain a berth in the Molten Division III National Championships in April, La Verne upset every team that came to play in the ASICS tournament last weekend, including No. 1 ranked New York University, to improve their overall record to 7-10 and move into the No. 1 slot in Division III.
