In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Summer Service at the University of La Verne, 15 students were honored at a breakfast Saturday, Nov. 1 in Davenport Dining Hall.
As the summer months quickly approach, it is that time of the year for students to choose how they will spend their summer vacation. Fifteen University of La Verne students will participate in Summer Service, a volunteer opportunity for students to work at church camps, retirement centers and other places of need throughout California, Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
If you have not been to the eastern shore of Baja, you now have the opportunity to do so, and join other colleges on a spring break trip to San Felipe, Mexico.
Students called into an area of faith development will experience a summer of service through a program that will benefit them both spiritually and scholastically.
