With the NBA kicking off its 65th season on Tuesday, the time has come to assess what is new around the league, as well as who will make a push for championship contention.
I cannot tell you how many records Michael Jordan broke over the course of his career[s], how many points he scored in his last game for the Chicago Bulls or how many championship rings he wears on his hand. I do not know what percentage of the Washington Wizards he owns, how long his stint in minor league baseball was or how many shoes were designed with his name. However, I do know that he was an athlete that left the sport of basketball at the top of the game and that is how I want to remember him.
