On their senior day ode to the graduating class, the La Verne women’s water polo team dropped their last home game of the regular season to the undefeated Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, 17-10, Saturday morning at the La Verne Aquatic Center.
The La Verne baseball team balled out this past weekend against the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, winning 10-8 on April 7 in Claremont and 3-2 and 5-4 on Saturday at Ben Hines Field.
The Leopards faced the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens for a Saturday doubleheader at Campus West, but were unable to pull off a win for either game, losing 14-3 in game one and 7-1 in game two.
As the Leopards progress into the middle of their season, the men’s and women’s track and field teams finished strong in multiple events at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational on Saturday.
